AutoCAD Advanced is the second in a series of courses in AutoCAD and introduces advanced techniques to be proficient in your use of AutoCAD. This is done by teaching you how to recognize the best tool for the task, the best way to use that tool, and how to create new tools to accomplish tasks more efficiently.

- Advanced Text Objects
- Creating Tables
- Defining dynamic blocks and attributes
- Using external reference files and image files
- Creating sheet sets
- CAD Management and System Setup
- Enhancing productivity with interface customization of AutoCAD
We assume in this class that the student is comfortable with the basics of creating an AutoCAD drawing as taught in AutoCAD Fundamentals. Our teaching strategy is to demonstrate the versatility of AutoCAD by showing a range of options to achieve a particular result, and to suggest where one option can be better than another under given circumstances. Our hope is that students will practice the topics and concepts discussed in this class, and apply them in ways appropriate for their work.
